Teri Weefur uses her writing as a communication tool to shed
light on and put a human face to the issues that move her the
most: humanitarian and social justice causes.
With a decade of experience in the arts world, the humanitarian
industry, and the civil rights corridor, Teri is well-versed
in media relations, journalism and web-based marketing.
"Without a balance in the media of giving a voice to those
who otherwise would be unheard, and marketing tools that promote
a just society in the Western world as well as in developing
countries, our world will continue to fall apart at the seams,"
she said about the focus of her work.
Teri is a published writer in several U.S. based magazines--such as Fierce magazine, a progressive women's publication,
and editor and contributing writer for Global Woman Magazine--both
web-based and print.
Teri is also mother to a beautiful seven-year-old boy and is
currently working on her first novel. As a native of Liberia,
currently living in the U.S. for the past 17 years, her sense
of culture, the arts and the new media of our time, merges together
to make her a well-rounded, cutting edge and effective communications
professional.
