In addition to proofreading, clients have the option to receive detailed line edits electronically through MS Word's "track changes" feature--a process that provides clarity and speed to editing. In this format, commentary notes also can be inserted when questions of a larger nature arise or if stylistic points need to be addressed in detail. Examples of edits performed include editing for left-out words, "short and choppy" or run-on sentences, wordiness, as well as replacing colloquialisms as necessary, and rewriting stretcher phrases such as "there are" and "it is" where needed.

Clients will receive an overall assessment of their materials, including a one-page analysis of the quality of their work and general suggestions for improvement regarding coherence, scope and structure.
